What happens when you mix baking soda and white vinegar?
The mixture of these two elements causes an effervescent chemical reaction. It is this reaction that will be useful for cleaning, descaling or descaling. Impressive as it is, once that effervescence has passed, the result is a much less effective saltwater form.

Unclog the pipes
First pour 1 liter of boiling water into the clogged pipes, place 100 g of baking soda at the level of the drain, mix 25 cl of hot water and 250 ml of white vinegar, pour the mixture into the pipes, leave to act and rinse with warm water.

Descaling a washing machine
Pour 150 g of baking soda into the detergent compartment of your machine and a little white vinegar into the softener compartment and run a hot cycle (60 or 90°C) with no load.
Scrub burnt pans
Fill the bottom of the burnt saucepan with a little water, add 25 cl of vinegar, heat over low heat until a low boil, remove the saucepan from the heat, pour in 2 tablespoons of baking soda, leave to act, rub with a sponge and rinse.
Descale the dishwasher
Pour 500 ml of white vinegar into a container, place it on the top rack of the dishwasher, run a short cycle with no load, sprinkle the bottom of the dishwasher with baking soda and run a full cycle again.
