Decoration, Design: Six magnificent talents to follow

They are young, talented, and manage to surprise us with modern and sensitive works. What if we bet on the design of tomorrow? Here is our selection of new talents to follow.

LISA ALLEGRA

The young woman has always been passionate about materials and proportions. Multidisciplinary, she went from being an object designer to that of a window scenographer, and also embarked on the artisanal production of ceramics for her eponymous brand.

The work of the earth, she discovered it during her studies in Decorative Arts and, since, she places this material of contrast at the center of her activity, working the forms with ease. Lisa Allegra has poetry in her hands. She declines her objects in series, playing on formats, balances, and contrasts.

MATHIEU DELACROIX

This young designer, a graduate of the Saint-Étienne School of Art and Design, sees this profession as a permanent challenge. He favors natural and raw materials, shaping them so that each piece appears to be a futuristic technical feat.

However, his objects are often disconcertingly simple, like an echo of his visit to Japan which inspired his refined aesthetic. And allows him to design products that are emotionally linked to our lives.

AC / AL STUDIO

After training at ENSCI-Les Ateliers, Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot began their careers working for architecture and design agencies. Their desire to rely on sustainable craft techniques made them travel in search of sources of inspiration.

They founded their design studio in 2013, in Paris, with the objective of creating objects with strong emotional potential and cultivating a perfect balance between function, form and production technique.

Passionate about materials, handmade and industrial manufacturing processes, they design products and furniture that enhance utility and the rigor of simplicity.
